Thumbs up iPhone 4 wont start when unplugged - is this hardware issue ?

    Hi

Im having a problem Along with my iPhone 4.

The thing is that it doesnt work if its unplugged from the charger.

When I plug it in it says Connect to iTunes. and it dies when i pull out the charger.

Ive been looking for some solutions and what ive seen so far is that it could be the charger IC. The problem is that the IC does not get warm when its plugged in..

The battery has also been replaced Along with a brand new. Still doesnt work title=mad

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!
